Biography
Born in Madrid in 1980, Dabiz Muñoz developed a passion for flavors from childhood. After training at Torrejón de Ardoz Culinary School and working under Chef Abraham García at Viridiana, he moved to London where he honed his skills at Hakkasan, Nobu, and Locanda Locatelli. Returning to Madrid in 2007, he opened DiverXO, earning three Michelin stars by age 33 — making it Madrid's first three-star restaurant in over two decades. Named World's Best Chef three consecutive years (2021-2023), Muñoz is known for his "Vanguard or Die" philosophy and punk aesthetic.
